The Systems Engineer coordinates technical decisions across commissioning, project management, CAD, and installation teams and serves as the Tier 2 technical escalation point.</p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Major Roles and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>System Design:</strong></li><li>Develop system architecture based on customer requirements, site conditions, and Prime standards.</li><li>Select appropriate hardware, software, and network configurations; ensure designs are executable.</li><li><strong>Implementation Oversight:</strong></li><li> Direct commissioning engineers during deployment; ensure installations follow design intent.</li><li><strong>Technical Review:</strong></li><li>Review documentation and configuration for accuracy; validate deviations and provide guidance.</li><li><strong>Escalations:</strong></li><li>Serve as Tier 2 escalation; resolve integration and design-related issues; coordinate fixes across teams.</li><li><strong>Collaboration:</strong></li><li>Work with project managers, CAD, estimating, and field teams to support successful delivery and reduce rework.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>3-7 years of technical experience in physical security engineering. </li><li>Strong understanding of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related technologies. </li><li>Strong understanding of network protocols and system integration.</li><li>Proven ability to lead system design and technical execution with minimal oversight.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Genetec Certification (OTC 002 & STC 002). </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. </li><li>Must demonstrate our Core Values (Serve; Everyone has a story, collect it; Play chess not checkers; Own it; Growth minded).</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Notes:</strong></p><ul><li>Probationary period of 90 days. </li><li>Individuals with a felony or misdemeanor convictions MAY not be hired. </li><li>Individuals must not have any alcohol or drug-related convictions or suspensions within the past three years. </li><li>Individual must be able to read and understand instructions in English as well as possess good oral & written communication skills.  </li><li>Individual must be able to pass a drug and physical screening as well as background requirements. </li></ul><p><em>Prime Secured is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
