    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BILINGUAL (ENGLISH / SPANISH) AMFT / ACSW - THERAPIST - OUTPATIENT</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Substance Use Disorder Treatment</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>CRI-Help is a substance use disorder treatment center with several locations across Los Angeles County. We've been around since 1971 and are noted as an organization practicing integrity in our commitment to ethical and meaningful client care. Our mission is to improve the welfare of the community by providing first-class substance use disorder treatment to adults and families seeking freedom from the bondage of addiction, and we live out that mission everyday with our staff and clients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a nonprofit organization, CRI-Help is a qualifying employer affording our full-time employees the opportunity to begin, or continue, the process of seeking PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness). We opened a new facility in Lincoln Heights in January 2025 and are still hiring for all roles- keep referring back to <a href=\"https://crihelp.bamboohr.com/careers/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://crihelp.bamboohr.com/careers/</a> for current openings at all sites.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Basic Function</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work as part of a cross-disciplinary team and deliver direct clinical services to individuals with a primary SUD and co-occurring disorder.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct, at minimum, 20 hours per week of individual, family, and / or group counseling sessions.</li>\n<li>Assist in the development of Behavioral Wellness / Safety Plans for high-risk clients.</li>\n<li>Participate in case conferences and treatment planning and clinical discussions in order to provide holistic, person-centered care and quality assessments. </li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records by documenting, in various electronic systems, client interactions in accordance with guidelines established by CRI-Help, Inc., satisfying internal and external requirements. </li>\n<li>Maintain client records according to HIPAA and 42 CFR, adhering to all participant confidentiality requirements and standards.</li>\n<li>Attend staff and agency meetings, and participate in agency-wide trainings as required.</li>\n<li>Understand and apply State and County requirements per Title 22, Title 9, and the SAPC DMC Provider Manual.</li>\n<li>Comply with all agency policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Provide administrative assistance to clinical staff by reviewing and finalizing ASAM Assessments and Treatment Plans / Problem Lists, while working in collaboration with clinical staff to determine medical necessity</li>\n<li>Complete other tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Skills / Knowledge</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be highly organized.</li>\n<li>Must have knowledge of the 12-Steps.</li>\n<li>Must have knowledge of CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-based therapy.</li>\n<li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n<li>Must have excellent documentation skills.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word.</li>\n<li>Must have excellent time management skills.</li>\n<li>Must have the ability to work effectively within a team structure.</li>\n<li>Must be bilingual (English / Spanish).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Education / Training</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be registered as an AMFT or ASW.</li>\n<li>Must have a Master’s degree from an accredited university in social work, psychology, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Must continuously comply with all board requirements, including registration renewal.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Experience</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a minimum three years of working with acute Substance Use Disorder, psychiatric issues, and co-occurring disorders in a residential or outpatient setting.</li>\n<li>Must have extensive knowledge of integrated behavioral health, mental health recovery, age-specific growth and development.</li>\n<li>Must have experience with crisis management and behavior management.</li>\n<li>Must understand and comply with HIPAA regulations, policies and behavioral health standards.</li>\n<li>Must be able to conduct brief, evidence-based and developmentally appropriate screenings, and to conduct and / or arrange for more detailed assessments as indicated.
