As an EEO employer, we provide opportunities for all qualified candidates without regards to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran, or disabled status.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Sector Supervisor coordinates with the OCC Duty Manager and other departments to ensure compliance with all company dispatch and policy requirements.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the safe and efficient routing of company aircraft. </li>\n <li>Log and maintain accurate system flight information including aircraft substitutions, swaps, and cancellations. </li>\n <li>Consistently oversee Dispatchers’ flight following. </li>\n <li>Monitor and review weather, maintenance data, and crew factors to develop an effective plan of operation. </li>\n <li>Review aircraft status with Maintenance Control and Hub Operations.</li>\n <li>Advise the OCC Duty Manager of developing irregularities. </li>\n <li>Continuously monitor and maintain accurate and efficient performance of the Dispatchers in his/her sectors. </li>\n <li>Ensure all flight operations are conducted in compliance with applicable FARs and company procedures. </li>\n <li>Coordinate and communicate flow of operational information to all departments and stations for use in planning. </li>\n <li>Input appropriate data to the FliteTrac computer system to maintain current flight status information. </li>\n <li>Coordinate with Crew Scheduling to ensure compliance with FARs and contract requirements. </li>\n <li>Ensure departmental guidelines are adhered to. </li>\n <li>Update Pipeline with restrictive MELs and routing.</li>\n <li>Assist Shift managers during normal operations.</li>\n <li>Continuously monitor OOOI times/Feds Acars/Deltamatic and Tarmac delays.</li>\n <li>Communicate with Delta RSOM/Stations regarding 3+ hours controllable delays and cancels.</li>\n <li>Update OCC countdown clock. </li>\n <li>Participate on Irregular Operation conference calls at the direction of the OCC Duty Manager. </li>\n <li>Must be willing to be on call during designated periods. </li>\n <li>Computer work in an office environment, sitting for the majority of the day.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred</li>\n <li>1 year of experience in airline operations</li>\n <li>Part 121 Aircraft Dispatcher license (requires a minimum age of 23) </li>\n <li>Reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude</li>\n <li>Ability to multi task efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write, understand and clearly speak in English</li>\n <li>Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>PC proficient in Microsoft Office products and general internet applications</li>\n <li>Ability to sit in the jumpseat without a seat belt extension to ensure compliance with FAR 121.463 2C</li>\n <li>Ability to work any shift including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed</li>\n <li>Some repetitive motion such as typing</li>\n <li>Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.</li>\n <li>Can involve long periods of sitting.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Providing world-class service to our customers starts with providing world-class benefits to our employees.
