This role ensures the efficient flow of materials and finished goods to meet customer demand while optimizing cost, quality, and service levels. In a manufacturing environment, the position plays a key role in cross-functional coordination, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company goals for cost, service, and inventory optimization&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Oversee procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead production planning and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery and efficient capacity utilization&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage inventory levels to balance working capital objectives with customer service requirements&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor and improve key supply chain metrics (OTD, inventory turns, lead times, supplier performance)&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, sales, and finance to align supply chain activities with business needs&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Oversee logistics and transportation strategies to optimize freight cost and delivery performance&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage ERP/MRP system utilization for planning, purchasing, and inventory control&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead, coach, and develop supply chain team members (buyers, planners, warehouse/logistics staff)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support new product introduction (NPI) efforts with sourcing and supply chain readiness&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare forecasts and participate in S&amp;OP (Sales &amp; Operations Planning) processes&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate with shop supervisors to properly align staffing resources to meet production demand</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>Additional Duties, Responsibilities and Activities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as may be necessary to fulfil the responsibilities of this position.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>Education and Experience Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or similar field required; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3-5 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor Kinetic, SAP, Oracle, or similar); Epicor Kinetic preferred&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong understanding of procurement, production planning, inventory control, and logistics&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven experience in supplier negotiation and cost reduction initiatives&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices preferred&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or similar credentials are a plus&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Key Competencies</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analytical and problem-solving skills&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong leadership and team development abilities&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Financial acumen related to cost control and inventory management&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to demonstrate strong decision-making skills under pressure</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>Position will work an onsite shift schedule of Monday - Friday, with hours between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.",
