This full-time position(s) reports to the Maintenance Manager. </span><br><br></p>\n<p><span>Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. </span><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION SUMMARY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Maintenance Technician will work under the direction of the production team conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities used to manufacture and package probiotic products in a GMP environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KEY JOB DUTIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including boilers, blending equipment, freeze dryers, lab equipment, centrifuges, bioreactors, pelletizing equipment, freezers, autoclaves, biosafety cabinets, and chillers, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain proper documentation within the CMMS Maintenance program of equipment logs, and maintenance work order requests.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct facility preventative maintenance and repairs, including water systems, lighting, drywall, doors, basic plumbing, and electrical etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist in root cause analysis, breakdown investigations and in suggesting corrective and preventative actions as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform inventory and ordering of maintenance supplies and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment to completion concurrently.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all company policies to ensure safety and quality.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Adhere to safety policies and maintain safety records.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain a clean work area and Production areas to ensure proper organization and to be audit ready at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Practice good communication skills and be a team player.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Set personal goals and track progress. Seek out training and growth opportunities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be available for emergency on-call duties and weekend work. In emergency or special project situations, adjust the work schedule to support production requirements.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">COMPANY REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.</li>\n<li>Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.</li>\n<li>Must be able to work individually and as part of a team, when needed.</li>\n<li>Understand and follow the organization's health and safety policies.</li>\n<li>Must follow GMP requirements and use PPE when required, such as respirators, and comply with company safety policies.</li>\n<li>Must be able to recognize audible hazards.</li>\n<li>Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.</li>\n<li>Must take part in special projects as assigned.</li>\n<li>Participate in the Occupational, Health and Safety training sessions to ensure understanding of the EHS policies.</li>\n<li>Maintain good attendance.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and safe workplace to prevent accidents and health hazards.</li>\n<li>Perform other projects / duties as assigned.</li>\n<li>Identify any incidents and potential hazards in the workplace and report them as needed.</li>\n<li>Adhere to company policies and guidelines as described in the Employee Handbook.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED.</li>\n<li>1 year mechanical or maintenance experience required.</li>\n<li>Experience in a GMP manufacturing or production environment is a plus.</li>\n<li>Knowledge/certification in HVAC, electrical, or refrigeration is a significant plus.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SOME OF OUR US BENEFITS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Medical, vision, and dental coverage after 30 days (and first day of the following month).
