      "text": "What You Will Do:",
      "content": "<div>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The <strong>Journey AOD III</strong> is responsible for providing trauma informed group counseling services to participants enrolled in the Youth Offender Program (YOP). This includes a variety of services including assessment, treatment planning, participant education, documentation, follow-up, etc. The clinician’s primary responsibility will be to provide quality clinical care through group therapy with collaboration of CDCR DRP, CCHS and DAI institution staff.</p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p>\n\n<li>Delivers approved trauma informed curriculum-based programming services to participants.</li>\n\n\n<li>Provides and conduct trauma-informed groups using trauma-informed curricula; structured and gender-responsive trauma-informed groups. Conduct multiple groups daily and/or individual sessions as necessary.</li>\n\n\n<li>Participates in case conferences and provide guidance in determining education and vocational goals based on the interest and preferences of each participant in addition to individualized assessments.</li>\n<li>Maintains participant supervision, including development of the treatment plan, review of client’s files, and initial and or ongoing client assessments.</li>\n\n\n<li>Evaluates and documents the progress of participants assigned to their groups.</li>\n<li>Documents the delivery of programming services in ARMS and other documentation as required.</li>\n<li>Work with the participants to develop and implement a treatment/action plan.</li>\n<li>Engage participants daily, reinforce group rules and expectation for participations and completion.</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with Facilitator Inmates and OMCP Mentors as needed during group sessions.</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with CDCR DRP, CCHS and DAI institution staff.</li>\n<li>Attend workshops, meetings, and trainings as requested by supervisor.</li>\n<li>May serve as Community Advocate role in addition to job as requested by community leadership. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>\n\n</div>"

      "content": "<p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>Required:</p>\n\n<li>A Masters degree in a social service related field or mental health related field; and licensed in good standing with BBS; or</li>\n<li>Registered and in good standing with BBS and six months of experience providing CBI services: or</li>\n<li>Certified and in good standing with an AOD certifying organization recognized by DHCS: or</li>\n<li>A bachelor’s degree, AOD certified and six months of experience providing SUD services as a certified AOD Counselor: or</li>\n<li>An associate degree, AOD certified and one year of experience providing SUD services as a certified AOD counselor: or</li>\n<li>AOD Certified and more than (2) years of experience providing SUD services as a certified AOD counselor</li>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Preferred: NONE</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Certifications or Licenses:</strong></p>\n<p>Required:</p>\n\n<li>Licensed or registered by the Board of Behavioral Sciences or AOD Certification by a DHCS recognized organization and maintain current and active license/certification that is not under suspension or probation.</li>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Skills/Abilities:</strong></p>\n\n<li>Understanding of causes, symptoms, and effects of substance abuse; appreciation for the behavioral, psychological, physical and social effects of drug abuse.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of contractual requirements of contract is essential.</li>\n<li>Operational knowledge of MS-Word, Excel, and Access.</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity under pressures generated by association with substance abuse treatment participants.&nbsp;</li>\n<li>Ability to provide genuine warmth, empathy and honest sensitivity to participants to facilitate positive change.</li>\n<li>Ability to provide participants with frequent acknowledgment and reinforcement for positive behaviors, as well as consistent and predictable feedback for negative behaviors, which may include reporting violations to CDCR staff.</li>\n<li>Ability to develop a treatment alliance with participants.</li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, written communications and typing skills.</li>\n<li>Ensure that excellence and integrity are applied to professional responsibilities in order to provide optimal services to participants.</li>\n<li>Understand and appropriately apply Amity policies and procedures and adhere to agency-wide practices and regulations.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate ethical behavior in order to maintain professional standards and safeguard the participant.</li>\n<li>Protect and maintain participants’ health, safety, welfare, and confidentiality of records and participant information.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate proper attitudes and techniques towards faculty, institution staff, and participant.</li>\n<li>Model professionalism, effective work habits and responsible living.</li>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>"
