Valley's Housing Services provide safe, stable living environments that help adults maintain housing and work toward greater independence and self-sufficiency. As a Housing Property Manager, you'll oversee daily property operations while building positive tenant relationships, maintaining quality housing standards, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations. This role combines property management expertise with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents.
Pay: Range starts at $28.50/hour ( pay is calculated based on years of related experience)
Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

Compensation Our compensation program includes tenure-based service increases and performance bonuses that recognize and reward high-performing team members. On-Demand Pay gives you access to a portion of your earned wages before your scheduled payday. Time Off We offer 15 days of accrued paid time off annually (increasing by one day with each year of service), 10 paid holidays, 2 wellness days, and paid parental leave. Health & Insurance Benefits Full-time and part-time team members working 30+ hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as voluntary options including accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness, financial protection, and pet insurance. Valley also provides Basic Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Long-Term Disability Insurance at no cost to eligible team members. Health Savings & Reimbursement Out-of-pocket medical expenses may be eligible for reimbursement through our Garner HRA — up to $2,000 for individuals and $4,000 for families. Depending on your medical plan selection, you may also contribute pre-tax dollars to a Health Savings Account (HSA), with a company match of up to $900 for individuals and $1,800 for families. Retirement Our 401(k) plan accepts both pre-tax and Roth (post-tax) contributions and includes a company match of up to 6% of your annual salary. Job Summary
The Housing Property Manager ensures the efficient management of Valley’s supportive housing properties. The Manager oversees and manages all aspects of property operations including tenant relations, maintenance, financial management, and compliance. The Property Manager upholds high standards of customer service and ensures that properties remain safe, clean, and well maintained.
Essential Functions
Maintains positive relationships with tenants and responds promptly to maintenance and service requests Ensures that occupancy goals are met through the marketing of available units to prospective tenants through various channels including online listings, signage, and community outreach; conducts property tours and assists with the leasing process Coordinates with community agencies and assists residents with access to translation, economic, social, legal, and healthcare services Collects rent from tenants and ens
ures that payments are processed accurately and timely Prepares and distributes notices to tenants regarding lease violations, rent increases, and other matters Recommends evictions as warranted and prepares required documentation; participates in hearings and appeals as necessary; coordinates with legal counsel on eviction proceedings as necessary Performs administrative tasks and maintains required lease, maintenance, and financial records Manages property budgets and expenses related to maintenance, utilizes, and capital improvements Manages vendor contracts and coordinates vendor services Oversees and performs maintenance and repair activities including inspections, preventative maintenance, and scheduled and emergency repairs Works closely with maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure that all work is completed to high standards and within budgetary constraints Maintains knowledge of and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to housing, property management, HUD requirements for low-income, elderly, and individuals with disabilities, and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program
