    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>ADCI Engineer Diver &amp; Inspector</strong></p>\n<p><br><span><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>Michael Baker International is seeking an ADCI Engineer Diver &amp; Inspector in South Carolina. As part of our Structures group, you will help us deliver outstanding inspection services.&nbsp; You will work with experienced engineers to inspect bridges of all shapes and sizes as well as other marine structures to help ensure the safety of the traveling public in South Carolina and across the country.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in rehabilitation and design services</li>\n <li><span>Lead field inspections of various structures including bridges, culverts, noise walls, retaining walls, and sign structures to ensure public safety</span></li>\n <li><span>Coordinate and organize field work, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with team members</span></li>\n <li><span>Prepare and review detailed inspection reports, maintaining high standards of documentation and accuracy</span></li>\n <li><span>Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD and structural analysis/design tools to assess bridge conditions and design necessary repairs or rehabilitation solutions</span></li>\n <li><span>Adapt to a dynamic work environment with new and complex challenges each day, both in the field and in the office</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>What You’ll Need to Succeed:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Professional Engineer Certification&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>ADCI certified commercial diver&nbsp;(or equivalent)</span></li>\n <li><span>NHI course Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (preferred, not required)</span></li>\n <li><span>NHI course Underwater Bridge Inspection (preferred, not required)</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong organizational and writing skills</span></li>\n <li><span>Motivated and have a strong work ethic</span></li>\n <li><span>Proficient in Microsoft Office</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong client relationship skills&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to perform field work which can include carrying ladders and gear, working at heights, climbing, working in hot or cold weather, diving, etc.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Previous inspection and report writing experience desired</span></li>\n <li><span>Live in, commute, or willing to relocate to Charleston, Columbia, or Greenville office in South Carolina</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Compensation:</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>The approximate compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 per year.
