This role will pay particular attention to assist in many of the specialized tasks within the QA department as identified below. Reports to Quality Assurance Supervisor.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</u></strong><u>&nbsp;</u></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop a working knowledge of the product and processes in all production areas.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor implementation of all Food safety, Regulatory, and Quality programs within all production environments.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The primary focus of this role is &ldquo;shopfloor&rdquo; presence and to be available to assist plant personnel when food safety or quality concerns arise.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Pre-operational inspection and Operational monitoring of production equipment to ensure sanitary practices.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Be a technical resource for all production areas.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Educate production team members involved in the daily manufacturing process on Food Safety &amp; Quality programs as applicable.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Investigate and troubleshoot process and procedural non-conformance by partnering with various departments to define sustainable corrective actions and preventative measures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Place raw material and finished products on QC Hold as deemed necessary when non-conformances are found. Complete QC Hold Verifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Help assist in data collection for small to large scale projects as needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Evaluate current process standards and provide effective suggestions for continuous improvement.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Uphold and monitor allergen control programs to ensure program effectiveness and implementation.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor raw material/ ingredient receiving and storage for proper rotation and usage of materials.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Audit and verify HACCP, GMP, SSOP&rsquo;s, SOP&rsquo;s and work instructions to comply with BRC standards.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete daily HACCP Verifications and record review.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collect, interpret, and provide data to Operations and the Quality Management team as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform Equipment / Infrastructure / Environmental swabbing as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review special cleaning forms to ensure MSS cleanings have been completed before production starts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform equipment calibration as needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Use quality software to capture QA audit results.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete production form reviews in our quality management software.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Backup and represent other QA Auditors and the QA Supervisor in their absence.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in training and integration of new hourly QA team members as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Occasional weekend rotation works as required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All other duties as assigned.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Approximately 75% of time expected on the plant floor and 25% office time.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 47px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor of Science degree in Animal/Meat Science, Food Science, or other related science field preferred (not required).</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>NUESKE&rsquo;S CULTURE ELEMENTS:</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At Nueske&rsquo;s, we share a few basic Culture Elements.
