    "description": "<p>Title: Sr. Estimator / Preconstruction Manager<br>Location: Based in Canby, OR (National Coverage)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Wilson Construction Co. (Wilson) has an immediate opening in our Canby, OR office for an experienced professional, Sr. Estimator / Preconstruction Manager with a positive, results-oriented attitude and the willingness to provide valuable impact to our project teams. Successful candidates should have relevant experience in construction management for large-scale electrical utility construction projects.  Our ideal candidate will be an organized and motivated self-starter.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This position’s responsibilities include developing, organizing, managing, and executing the proposal and preconstruction phase of large-scale electrical utility projects.</p>\n<p>•    Estimation and Proposal management: Working closely to develop proposal work plans, estimates, align subcontractor scopes, and ensure overall construction resources are best aligned for project award.<br>•    Preconstruction Management: Support all logistics, planning, documentation, and administrative efforts post contract award. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Requirements:<br>•    Ten years of increasing construction leadership or project management related to electrical utility maintenance and/or construction;<br>•    Experience with estimating, field investigations, <br>•    Background in work plan development or project planning;   <br>•    Journeyman Lineman and/or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, construction management, business, with equivalent work experience;<br>•    Proficiency in MS Office.  Microsoft Project and Primavera skills are beneficial;<br>•    Excellent written and oral communication skills; <br>•    Strong attention to detail;<br>•    Willingness to work outside and travel as required;<br>•    This position will be based in Canby, OR.  Candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance from our office or be willing to relocate.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Excellent benefits package including employer paid medical, dental, vision, 401(k), personal time off and holiday pay.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Wilson Construction Co. is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Smoke &amp; drug free environment.  Successful candidates will be required to pass post-offer and random drug tests, including marijuana.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>To apply:<br>Please submit your cover letter &amp; resume via our website through the Opportunities page:<br>www.wilsonconst.com</p>",
