    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Principal System Engineer</strong><strong> </strong>providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center-Ground Base Air Defense Sensor division (AFLCMC/ESG). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ESG Division manages efforts focused on developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining programs that support worldwide communications, Battle Management, Command & Control, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C2ISR), Air/Ground Surveillance, Time Critical Targeting, Combat Identification, Radar Imagery, Integrated Air/Missile Defense, and Mobile/Fixed C2ISR Performance, Exploitation & Dissemination Facilities.</p>\n<p> This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Duties includ</strong><strong>e, but not limited to</strong>: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide systems engineering support across acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, deployment, and operational oversight activities</li>\n <li>Conduct program and technical reviews to evaluate engineering approaches, system performance, technical baselines, risks, and alternative solutions</li>\n <li>Support systems engineering processes, trade studies, and system-level testing to ensure performance requirements are achieved in accordance with approved specifications</li>\n <li>Prepare and review technical documentation, engineering analyses, management reports, and technical presentations</li>\n <li>Support program risk management activities in compliance with Air Force Systems Engineering Assessment Model (SEAM) processes</li>\n <li>Provide proposal analysis support to evaluate technical feasibility, compatibility, and cost effectiveness of proposed systems and approaches</li>\n <li>Review and analyze system concepts, user requirements, and requirements baseline documentation</li>\n <li>Support concepts and requirements analysis activities including ICDs, CDDs, CPDs, AoAs, CONOPs, Technology Development Strategies, FCAs, and PCAs</li>\n <li>Support software development and integration efforts in coordination with Government and prime contractors</li>\n <li>Work with Government and contractor personnel to review system and subsystem design, analysis, and testing activities</li>\n <li>Apply advanced systems engineering principles, concepts, standards, and methods to support program objectives, cost, schedule, and performance requirements</li>\n <li>Support development and implementation of improved systems engineering processes, techniques, and procedures</li>\n <li>Oversee engineering efforts and acquisition activities supporting the WAS, 3DELRR, and NCRIADS programs</li>\n <li>Support multiple teams simultaneously in a high-visibility environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Citizenship: Must be a US citizen</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Clearance</strong><strong>: Must have an Active Secret Clearance</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor’s Degree in a related professional engineering discipline and 20 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 10 of which must be in the DoD</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting USAF command and control reporting systems, tactical radar, shelter and radome systems, aircraft trainer pods, radios and communication systems, EW systems, or threat emitters</li>\n <li>Understanding of cloud-based systems, including management of cost and performance</li>\n <li>Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps principles</li>\n <li>Understanding of Agile software development best practices including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile sprint planning</li>\n <li>Ability to guide development efforts using Agile standards and engineering best practices</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Interpersonal Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated critical thinking skills</li>\n <li>Strong leadership and team coordination abilities</li>\n <li>Ability to operate effectively in a high-visibility environment</li>\n <li>Strong communication and presentation skills</li>\n <li>Outgoing personality with the ability to lead multiple teams simultaneously</li>\n <li>Polished professional presence; prior military leadership experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Hanscom AFB, MA</p>\n<p><strong>Onsite</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-KM1</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Odyssey </strong>is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
