Key skills for this role are:<br><br>•\tThe ability to manage several projects of varying scale and complexity simultaneously<br>•\tPassion for solving challenging problems <br>•\tEnjoy working with artificial intelligence, machine learning &amp; big data technology<br>•\tPossess excellent business insight and the ability to move smoothly between projects<br>•\tAt least 2-5 years of experience of highly technical work at the implementation level in software development, machine learning, or big data.<br><br><br><strong>About the position</strong><br><br>In this role you will ensure timely execution and manage the risk of multiple programs of highly skilled teams.  The technical program manager (TPM) will develop and manage program plans ensuring that plans are executable and key milestones are met. The TPM will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and balance resource allocation plans, control program schedule and cost, and review risks to ensure customer expectations and product outcomes are met.  TPM support business development and customer transition plans.  Beyond program management duties, TPM’s also participate and support technical execution of several programs.  <br><br>You are highly encouraged to apply if you are excited about turning an idea into a product, enjoy coordinating with a variety of stakeholders to ensure program execution, enjoy strategic plan development and are inclined to work through technical details and enjoy solving complex problems.<br><br><strong>Job duties</strong><br><br>•\tLead a team of software developers, engineers, and scientists<br>•\tCultivate and grow strong relationships with current and potential customers<br>•\tDevelop and maintain project deliverables (project management plan, quality assurance plan, monthly status reports, monthly financial reports and project schedule)<br>•\tWork with multiple technical teams to ensure timely and high-quality project execution<br>•\tIdentify and control risks using risk mitigation strategies<br>•\tCommunicate effectively with technical teams, internal stakeholders and customers<br>•\tCoordinate with the talent acquisition team when staffing needs arise<br>•\tSupport the business development team with customer transition plans and proposal development<br>•\tContribute to technical aspects of projects based on technical skills.  Possible tasks include: software development, algorithm testing/evaluation, devops, or UI design/testing<br><br><strong>Desired skills</strong><br>•\tFamiliar with AI/machine learning concepts and applications<br>•\tOutstanding leadership, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills<br>•\tProject management/execution software (Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence)<br>•\tStrong experience in identify/deriving requirement and using them to control project scope<br>•\tExperience with Critical Path Method/Earned Value or comparable method of controlling schedule, cost, and other deviations from the project plan.<br>•\tSoftware development experience using Agile<br>•\tComfortable with object-oriented concepts with hands on development experience<br>•\tUnderstand the landscape of the web, mobile, big data, and machine learning technology<br>•\tApply creative problem-solving skills to a variety of problems<br>•\tFacilitate technical proposal preparation<br><br><strong>Education and experience</strong><br>•\tA bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field<br>•\tTwo or more years’ experience years in a technical role and 2+ years in a management/leadership role<br>•\tAt least 5 years of experience of highly technical work at the implementation level in software development, machine learning, or big data.<br><br><br><strong>Nice to have, but not required</strong><br>•\tProject Management Professional (PMP) or a degree such as Masters in Business Administration (MBA)<br><br><strong>About us</strong><br>Intelligent Automation, Inc.
