Founded in 1973 in a barber shop in Downtown San Diego by Filipino health professionals offering services to immigrants who did not have the finances, linguistic skills, or ability to navigate the health care system. Today, Operation Samahan has evolved into a diverse community health center with services available in National City, Mira Mesa, City Heights, and Rancho Penasquitos. We provide primary care, dental, behavioral health, family planning, integrative health and wellness, healthy eating, civic engagement, and other health-related services to the uninsured, underinsured, and underserved families of all income levels, regardless of their ability to pay.</p><p>JOB PURPOSE</p><p>Provides individual and group therapy as well as psycho-educational groups to underserved populations. Licensed clinicians provide evidence-based services as part of multi-disciplinary team that includes the PCP, psychiatrists, case managers, medical assistants, the behavioral health director, and other health and social service providers. &nbsp;</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Provide individual, group therapy as well as psycho-educational groups &nbsp;</li><li>Performs behavioral health assessments, treatment planning</li><li>Documents all services</li><li>Performs peer chart auditing&nbsp;</li><li>Works with department operations to achieve goals</li><li>&nbsp;Assists clients with referrals to community-based programs</li><li>Provide culturally informed and competent services to underserved communities</li></ul><p>Quality Management</p><ul><li>Contributes to the organization&#39;s success by participating in quality improvement activities, taking part in peer audits, attending appropriate QA meetings and training, and performing job duties within the scope of practice and in accordance with best practices in a legal and ethical manner.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Privacy Policy and HIPAA Compliance</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>We maintain the privacy of all clients, employees, and volunteers and access such information only on a need-to-know basis for business purposes.</li><li>Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations.
