The Musical Theatre Instructor leads engaging and age-appropriate musical theatre classes for elementary school students in an after-school enrichment program. The instructor introduces students to the fundamentals of musical theatre, including acting, singing, movement, and stage presence, while fostering creativity, confidence, and teamwork. The instructor will also guide students toward a short performance or showcase. The Musical Theatre Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering VAPA aligned theatre lessons during 40-50 minute blocks while maintaining effective classroom management and utilizing best teaching practices. During a typical day, the musical theater Instructor will teach 2-3 classes. The Musical Theatre Instructor leads engaging and age-appropriate musical theatre classes for elementary school students in an after-school enrichment program. The instructor introduces students to the fundamentals of musical theatre, including acting, singing, movement, and stage presence, while fostering creativity, confidence, and teamwork. The instructor will also guide students toward a short performance or showcase. The Musical Theatre Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering VAPA aligned theatre lessons during 40-50 minute blocks while maintaining effective classroom management and utilizing best teaching practices. During a typical day, the musical theater Instructor will teach 2-3 classes.
