We are currently seeking an&nbsp;Applications Developer SME&nbsp;to work for our company.</p><p><strong>Summary:</strong></p><ul><li>Client Agency is Department of Commerce</li><li>Technicalexpert in design development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs high level studies, analysis and evaluations of recent designs, integrations, documentation and implementation of similar complex projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and develop specifications to resolve them.&nbsp;</li><li>Contributes to assuring consistency of overall analytical effort.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains records and drafts preliminary reports. experience providing programming solutions in a variety of settings.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with database, internet, web, e-business, and commercial-off-the-shelf software and interfaces.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage the work of others. &nbsp;</li><li>Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Translates detailed design into computer software.&nbsp;</li><li>Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required and quality product.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.&nbsp;</li><li>Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides technical direction/assistance to subordinate staff.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection suitability.
