    "requisitionDescription": "\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/21.39.21/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/21.39.21/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <div><div><strong>Summary:</strong></div><div>Administers physical therapy treatments to patients, delegates and coordinates skilled therapeutic interventions to physical therapy assistants and physical therapy aids, by performing the following duties.</div><div><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.</strong></div><div>Competent in performing examination and evaluation including patients&rsquo; history, body systems review, test and measures, outcome measures, develop plan of care and progress for the plan of care.&nbsp;</div><div>Demonstrates extensive knowledge and interest in learning integrated facets of neuro-rehabilitation and stays updated to the latest research and breakthroughs in clinical practice.&nbsp;</div><div>Administers active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and heat, light, sound, water, and electrical modality treatments such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, ultraviolet, infrared, and hot and cold packs.&nbsp;</div><div>Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to learn and improve functional activities such as pre-ambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily living activities.</div><div>Observes and documents patients&rsquo; therapies during treatments and compiles and evaluates data on patients&#39; responses to treatments and progress.</div><div>Fits patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and assistive devices such as crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.</div><div>Confers with members of rehabilitation staff and other health team members, individually and in conference, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.</div><div>Gives orientation to new Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and directs and gives instructions to Physical Therapy Aides.</div><div>Performs clerical duties such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms.</div><div>Measures patient&#39;s range-of-joint motion, length and girth of body parts, and vital signs to determine effects of specific treatments or to assist Physical Therapist to compile data for patient evaluations.</div><div>Provides direction and supervision of treatments administered by Physical Therapy Assistance and Physical Therapy Aides.</div><div><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></div><div>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</div><div><br></div><div><div><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (Master&rsquo;s degree preferred) from a college or university; at least two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</div><div><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Current valid certification/license as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida. #ZR</div></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>\n    </div>\n  \n",
