If who we are and what we do resonates with you, we invite you to join our high-performance team!\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>Provides program support for DoD ammunition/munition production programs through working collaboratively across different departments to manage projects/programs from initiation through completion, meet financial revenue, operating efficiency, and strategic goals, as well as regulatory requirements. Keeps all stakeholders informed of developments on the projects/programs covering the full range of the program's life cycle. ***We are currently recruiting for Program Manager II and Program Manager III opportunities. Candidates who apply to these postings will be considered for either level based on their qualifications, relevant experience, interview assessment, and Total Rewards evaluations***\n<h2>Impact of the Role</h2>\n<h3>General Profile</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field </li>\n <li>Uses advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete work</li>\n <li>Leads others to solve complex problems </li>\n <li>Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations</li>\n <li>May lead functional teams or projects</li>\n <li>Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Has P&L responsibilities for a specific program</li>\n <li> Implements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programs.</li>\n <li> Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers.</li>\n <li> Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance. </li>\n <li> Promotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilization. </li>\n <li> Supervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work in completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications. </li>\n <li> Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics. </li>\n <li> Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations. </li>\n <li> Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.</li>\n <ul>\n  <h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Required education and experience:</strong> Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience</li>\n   <li><strong>Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills:</strong> Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Preferred education and experience:</strong> Bachelor's Degree</li>\n   <li><strong>Discipline/Major:</strong> Business degree preferred</li>\n   <li><strong>Knowledge, skills & abilities:</strong> Oral and written communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines. Project management skills.</li>\n   <li>Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certifications. Earned Value Management (EVM) experience. Professional contracting certifications at the state or national levels.</li>\n   <li>Working knowledge of munitions: associated platforms, strategic and tactical systems, and military munitions/platform interface requirements.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.</li>\n   <li>Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.</li>\n   <li>Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Travel Requirements</h2>Up to 25% travel likely.\n  <h2>_____________________________</h2>The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
