This position is open to <strong>Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)</strong>, <strong>Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)</strong>, or <strong>Registered Nurses (RN)</strong>. We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members. • Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our team of experts and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures</p></li>\n <li><p>Room patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR)</p></li>\n <li><p>Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure</p></li>\n <li><p>Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Valid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa as one of the following:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Registered Nurse (RN) – Iowa Board of Nursing</p></li>\n   <li><p>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Iowa Board of Nursing</p></li>\n   <li><p>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, NHA or AMT)</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p>Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Familiarity with EPIC a plus!</p></li>\n <li>For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
