Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Engineering Leading projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications. Lead Engineering team with project management, program management, and management of engineering/technician staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer, sales, R&D, quality and operations, to ensure project success. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality. Oversee the design, development, and testing of engineering solutions. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support. Develop and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with company standards. Education & Experience Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience (12 years of related job experience without a degree). Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams. Demonstrated supervisory experience in engineering or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems. • Knowledge of ceramic material fabrication, machining, design, CNC programing, and advanced metrology. Skills & Other Requirements Experience in ceramic fabrication and machining Strong leadership and project management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to continuous improvement Solves diverse problems with high-level analysis Makes accurate detailed work plans for moderately complex systems/projects; may take lead role in planning and executing tasks; able to work many complex tasks simultaneously; able to plan resource requirements for task completion. Prepares written documents and reviews others' work; present to customers for review; can organize and direct group meetings. Proactively takes actions to address customer needs and issues. Regularly works independently with minimal supervision to achieve goals and objectives. Identifies developmental opportunities and champions corrective actions. Working Conditions Office and laboratory environments. Occasional travel may be required. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
