Rooted in intersectional, anti-oppressive, and decolonized approaches, our work is grounded in integrity as we build strong, collaborative relationships and strive to grow and improve together</span><span>.</span></span></p>\n<p><span><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>About the Role</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span><span>As a </span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Housing Supervisor</span></span></span><span><span>, you</span><span> will </span><span>be responsible for</span><span>:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Provide direct supervision, leadership, and performance management to housing staff</span></span></span><span><span> through regular supervision meetings, coaching, mentoring, performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and support with professional growth and accountability. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Oversee day-to-day housing operations and service delivery</span></span></span><span><span> by ensuring effective program coordination, facility management, intake and discharge processes, staffing coverage, and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Provide clinical support and guidance to staff in responding to complex service user needs</span></span></span><span><span>, including crisis intervention, de-escalation, safety planning, mental </span><span>health</span><span> and substance use concerns, housing stabilization, and service coordination. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Collaborate with internal clinical teams and external community partners</span></span></span><span><span> to ensure coordinated care planning, </span><span>appropriate referrals</span><span>, continuity of care, and responsive support for residents. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Monitor program quality, staff documentation, and service outcomes</span></span></span><span><span> to ensure compliance with City of Toronto standards, Ministry requirements, organizational policies, and best practices in supportive housing and youth services. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Support workforce planning and staffing operations</span></span></span><span><span> through scheduling, onboarding, training, payroll review, and participation in recruitment and employee development processes.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>What You Bring</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Undergraduate</span><span> degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or </span><span>a related</span><span> field. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Valid certifications in CPR/First Aid, UMAB (Understanding and Managing Aggressive </span><span>Behaviour</span><span>), and Trauma-Informed Care.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>3–5 years of progressive experience in supportive housing, shelter services, mental health, addictions, homelessness, or related community-based services. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Minimum</span><span> 2 years of supervisory experience, including staff leadership, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Demonstrated experience supporting frontline staff working with complex and high-acuity populations, including crisis intervention and case consultation. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Strong knowledge of trauma-</span><span>informed</span><span>, harm reduction, anti-oppressive, and affirming approaches to service delivery.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span><span style=\"color: windowtext;
