Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.<br><br><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Adhere to all safety procedures, including LOTO and NFPA 70E standards.  </li><li>Conduct timely and detailed preventive maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment.  </li><li>Provide effective responses to restore equipment to service promptly in the event of a system failure.  </li><li>Identify and respond to alarm conditions.  </li><li>Offer timely support to resolve equipment issues.  </li><li>Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and enhance system stability.  </li><li>Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, testing, and calibration activities, while proactively troubleshooting faults, technical issues, and supervisory alarms to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with operational standards.   </li><li>Understand fire alarm one-line diagrams.  </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>2 years of experience in fire alarm installation and repair (or equivalent trade school/military experience).  </li><li>Flexible to work four 10-hour shifts per week with varying hours, and able to move between different shifts as needed to support facility operations and meet business demands.  </li></ul><strong>Preferences:</strong> <ul><li>2+ years of experience in fire alarm installation and repair.  </li><li>Valid electrical license.  </li><li>NICET certification and/or 2 years of experience.  </li><li>Knowledge of Edwards EST fire alarm systems </li></ul> <p><strong>Physical Effort/Activities:</strong><br>May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
