This role works closely with the Director of EHS and regional teams to help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and to promote a strong safety culture across all operations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Based in Hillsborough, NJ, this position plays a key role in supporting field operations, conducting inspections, assisting with reporting, and helping drive consistency in EH&amp;S practices across Corporate, Operations, Site Services, and Engineering functions.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p><strong>Safety Program Support &amp; Compliance</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Support the implementation, administration, and ongoing improvement of EH&amp;S programs, policies, and procedures across all locations</li><li>Communicate, distribute, and help enforce company and site-specific safety procedures in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations</li><li>Maintain working knowledge of OSHA and other applicable regulations; assist with updates and communication of new or revised standards</li><li>Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical inventories, and ensure proper HMIS classifications</li><li>Serve as a liaison for third-party compliance platforms and vendors (e.g., ISN, Avetta, Highwire/ConstructSecure)</li><li>Track EH&amp;S performance metrics and assist in meeting company safety goals and targets&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Inspections, Audits &amp; Risk Management</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Conduct and assist with facility inspections, audits, and site visits to identify unsafe conditions and work practices</li><li>Prepare inspection reports, track corrective actions, and follow through to closure</li><li>Review Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), identify hazards, assess risk, and support updates to SOPs</li><li>Ensure employees and supervisors report unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions</li><li>Monitor company GPS/telematics systems and investigate alerts to help reduce vehicle incidents and losses. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Incident, Claims and Loss Prevention</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Assist with incident investigations, including gathering information, documenting findings, and supporting root cause analysis</li><li>Ensure timely reporting of all injuries, incidents, and near misses; track and help close out corrective actions</li><li>Support administration of workers&rsquo; compensation claims and coordinate with insurance carriers</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Assist with return-to-work programs, including coordinating modified duty assignments</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Communicate loss prevention efforts and program status to management&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Environmental Compliance &amp; Reporting</strong></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Prepare and submit required environmental and regulatory reports, including customer Right-to-Know (RTK/CRTK), and other federal, state, and local filings</li><li>Compile and maintain OSHA 300 logs and other required safety and labor statistics</li><li>Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual EH&amp;S reports and metrics for management review</li><li>Support environmental compliance reporting related to water, wastewater, and air requirements&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.15in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Training &amp;
