Join a team that builds equipment shaping the infrastructure of tomorrow.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>As a Fabricator at Schwing America, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in crafting steel and aluminum parts from detailed drawings using a variety of tools and equipment. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and take pride in producing quality work, we want to hear from you.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Fabricate steel and aluminum components based on engineering drawings</li><li>Operate and maintain equipment such as brakes, saws, radial drills, punch presses, and hand tools</li><li>Set up and run saws and drills at proper speeds and feeds</li><li>Program miters using the band saw</li><li>Operate press brake with correct dies and determine bend lines/tooling using bend allowances</li><li>Use grinders to deburr flame-cut parts</li><li>Safely move materials and parts using forklifts and overhead cranes</li><li>Operate barcode scanner/computer (SAP) to track labor time and pick materials</li><li>Inspect completed units to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications</li><li>Handle and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with company guidelines</li><li>Support maintenance and troubleshooting efforts as needed</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>2+ years of experience using fabrication equipment</li><li>Proficient in using saws, brakes, punch presses, drills, and hand tools</li><li>Strong understanding of geometric measurements and fabrication math</li><li>Familiarity with sheet metal, tubing, piping, and structural shapes (angle, channels, bar, etc.)</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions</li><li>Skilled in using material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes (2+ years preferred)</li><li>Computer literacy for referencing work instructions and tracking labor</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed</li><li>Work is performed 100% on the plant floor</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why Work at Schwing America?</strong></p><ul><li>Industry-leading equipment and tools</li><li>Clean, well-maintained facility</li><li>Opportunities for growth and advancement</li><li>Competitive pay and benefits</li><li>Team-oriented work culture with long-term career potential</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p></div>\n",
