    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The Quality Technician &ndash; Entry performs receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality. This role uses basic measurement tools, records inspection results, maintains traceability, and supports containment of non-conforming material. The technician assists with start-up checks, escalates quality issues, and supports manufacturing quality engineers, manufacturing, and operations to meet customer requirements.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection per work instructions, inspection plans, and/or control plans.</li><li>Use basic measurement tools correctly to inspect material and complete required gage checks.</li><li>Execute basic non-conforming material containment steps and escalate quality concerns using the escalation path.</li><li>Record inspection results accurately and maintain traceability in site systems, meeting defined accuracy and timeline expectations.</li><li>Support first-piece and start-up checks at the production line and apply reaction plan steps as trained; escalate non-conforming results immediately.</li><li>Follow all work instructions, standard operating procedures Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and documented processes for assigned tasks or stations.</li><li>Follow 6S, safety, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements; maintain a clean and organized inspection area.</li><li>Participate in basic problem-solving activities, including defect identification and data collection.</li><li>Complete required training (print reading, gaging, defect codes) to progress toward independent responsibility coverage.</li><li>Support weekend and off shift work as required.</li><li>Adhere to federal and state regulations.</li><li>Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.</li><li>Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.</li><li>Predictable and reliable attendance.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Manufacturing experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to learn to read part prints and apply tolerances.</li><li>Ability to learn basic dimensional measurement and metrology practices.</li><li>Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and spreadsheets.</li><li>Basic problem-solving skills for troubleshooting production issues.</li><li>Ability to understand process changes, updates, and related work instructions within assigned areas.</li><li>Ability to understand and apply customer, industry, and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p><strong>Key Competencies:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Focuses on Quality:</strong> Drives work results with a quality focus on actions and results.</li><li><strong>Decision Making &amp; Analysis:</strong> Makes sound decisions based upon a mixture of data-driven analysis, expertise, experience, and judgment; collects relevant information, seeking input from others, and identifies connections and/or root causes of problems.</li><li><strong>Takes Initiative:</strong> Exhibits strong drive for results and success; conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure; persists despite obstacles and opposition.</li><li><strong>Delivers Results:</strong> Achievement-oriented, feeling a sense of urgency to reach goals on time, if not before.</li><li><strong>Teamwork:</strong> Works cooperatively with others to accomplish team goals and organizational objectives.</li><li><strong>Communications:</strong> Exchanges thoughts, feelings, and information effectively.</li><li><strong>Integrity:</strong> Acts and makes decisions in a manner consistent with the needs of the public in the delivery of products/services.
