Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of earthworks and underground utility projects from kickoff through closeout — coordinating across clients, trades, engineers, and regulators while keeping schedules, budgets, and teams aligned. This role is well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both strong project management skills and a hands-on leadership style.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">OUR VALUES</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Help first —  </span>We show up for each other and foster a culture of genuine teamwork.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hungry — </span>We seek out challenges, take initiative, and push for continuous improvement.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Willing to learn — </span>We invest in growth because developing our people benefits everyone.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Committed — </span>We take pride in our work and hold ourselves to the highest standards.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set up and launch projects, including coordination with building departments, regulatory bodies, engineers, architects, and other consultants</li>\n<li>Manage project closeout, ensuring full completion and resolution of any outstanding construction or client issues</li>\n<li>Create, manage, and maintain project schedules including look-ahead schedules</li>\n<li>Liaise with clients, subtrades, and suppliers for scheduling, coordination, and pricing</li>\n<li>Review job costs and assist with evaluating and negotiating subtrade pricing</li>\n<li>Identify and investigate potential high-risk situations and provide solutions in the best interest of the project and company</li>\n<li>Ensure all team members understand project objectives, specifications, and head contract requirements</li>\n<li>Develop and implement cost-saving methods</li>\n<li>Lead handover meetings for newly assigned projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of direct experience with earthworks and underground utilities</li>\n<li>Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization</li>\n<li>Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines</li>\n<li>Flexibility to work extended hours and occasional weekends as required</li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n<li>Experience acquiring City of Calgary permits and indemnifications <em>(asset)</em></li>\n<li>Experience with temporary shutdowns and public notifications <em>(asset)</em></li>\n<li>Familiarity with Heavy Bid, Heavy Job, and Vista Viewpoint <em>(asset)</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em>We thank all candidates for their interest.
