NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are looking for a part-time<strong>&nbsp;2nd Shift Quality Assurance Lab Technician II</strong> to be responsible for the grading of processed and raw fruit products in accordance with standard operating procedures; recording, checking and retrieval of QA information. Performs laboratory analyses on samples and related work associated with monitoring and sampling. &nbsp; Ensures timely and accurate documentation is completed at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. This is a swing shift part-time job &ndash; (full time 40 hours during our fresh pack season, typically July &ndash; November, and when running production off season, part time the rest of the year).&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>For additional information, please see our &ldquo;About Us&rdquo; video, <a href=\"https://neiljonesfoodcompany.com/about-us/\" target=\"_blank\">Our Story - Neil Jones Food Company</a></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Promote Food Safety Culture as a top priority at all times and in all situations through consistent conversations, communications, and actions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Independently perform QA testing and verification for Brix, pH, turbidity, viscosity, and other routine analyses&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Execute and own pre-op inspections, including documentation and release recommendation&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct GMP audits and initiate immediate corrective actions on the floor</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform CCP and sanitation verifications; identify and respond to OOS conditions&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Requirements</strong>:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum 1&ndash;3 years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance, food safety, or laboratory testing required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or equivalent required: associate degree or coursework in food science, microbiology, or a related fired preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong Understand of GMPs.
