We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems.   \"\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>Riverside Research is looking for a Staff Accountant, under the direction of Senior Accounting Manager, will be a part of the accounting team and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP. This position will be supporting day-to-day accounting operations and assist with month-end close activities.<u></u></p>\n<p> All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage cash related transactions, including daily banking activity monitoring among multiple accounts</li>\n <li>Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, develop action plans and lead resolutions on accounts</li>\n <li>Process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls</li>\n <li>Set-up leave accruals for new hires</li>\n <li>Assist with payroll tax compliance</li>\n <li>Process weekly expense report payments</li>\n <li>Manage timesheet compliance</li>\n <li>Assist with AP and PO voucher entry</li>\n <li>Help set up new vendors</li>\n <li>Assist with expense report review and approval</li>\n <li>Assist with monthly closing activities</li>\n <li>Assist with audits</li>\n <li>Support special accounting projects and process improvements as needed</li>\n <li>Provide timely, professional support to employees and external agencies regarding payroll and AP inquiries</li>\n <li>Partner closely with HR on payroll-related activities while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.</li>\n <li>2-4 years’ work experience</li>\n <li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n <li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>\n <li>Ability to research, analyze and resolve problems</li>\n <li>Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritize</li>\n <li>Good listening and communication skills</li>\n <li>Willing to grow and take on additional responsibilities when needed and support other team members.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge and experience with Not-For-Profit or Government Accounting environments </li>\n <li>Working knowledge of UKG payroll system or similar</li>\n <li>Experience with ERP systems (CostPoint preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Global Comp</h2>$70,000 - $85,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.\n<h2>Closing Statement</h2>\"   Riverside Research strives to be one of America's premier providers of independent, trusted technical and scientific expertise.
