Foster a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment. Demonstrate strong rapport with students and a genuine love for physical education. Be physically active and able to lead and demonstrate skills confidently. Use strategies that motivate and empower students at various skill levels. 2. Plan and prepare lessons that accommodate mixed-ability groups and promote student participation. Maintain clear routines, positive discipline, and strong supervision in all PE environments (gym, field, pool, courts). Provide clear and timely feedback to students and parents, including during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate units, events, and cross-curricular activities. Stay current with developments in PE, coaching, health education, and school-wide curriculum changes. Participate in school-wide programs, events, and extracurricular activities - some of which may fall on evenings or weekends. Follow all school policies, procedures, and directives. Use biblical principles and the Matthew 18:15–20 approach when resolving conflict. Incorporate appropriate safety procedures in all lessons and activities. 3. Supervision & Student Safety Supervise students during PE classes, on the field, in the gym, at the pool, and during related activities. Support extracurricular athletics, clubs, and events as assigned. Monitor attendance, behavior, and special needs, keeping records accurately.
