    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>OVERVIEW</strong></p><div><div><p>The mission of Prince George&#39;s Christian Academy is to effectively teach the truths of the Bible, resulting in our students having a true relationship with Jesus Christ, as evidenced by exemplary Christian character and a love of learning. Our goal is for students to demonstrate excellence in all endeavors.&nbsp;</p><p>The Prince George&#39;s Christian Academy substitute teacher will provide education on an as-needed basis to students. The focus will be on the needs of the individual child or young person within the Academy&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Teach classes at the elementary or middle school level in academic or specialty subjects.</li><li>Encourage desirable study, work, and recreational habits by providing pupils with opportunities best suited to them.</li><li>Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, and at social curricular activities.</li><li>Prepare and adapt instructional material.</li><li>Maintain records and prepare reports relative to the work.</li><li>Perform related essential functions appropriate to the work and other non-essential functions as directed or required by the principal.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Membership, in good standing, of a local Bible-believing church, or willingness to become a member.</li><li>Passion for education and dedication to serving the Christian community.</li><li>Agreement with our articles of faith and a commitment to uphold them.</li><li>Gracious and Christ-like demeanor, particularly in challenging situations.</li><li>Understanding and appreciation for the ministry and mission of PGCA.</li><li>Must be able to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to individuals&#39; needs.</li><li>Must be at least 21 years old.</li><li>Experience working with children, preferred.</li><li>Demonstrate excellent oral and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, colleagues, administrators, office staff and other members of the school community.</li><li>Possess the ability to work with diverse populations.</li><li>Maintain a personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, professionalism, and agreement with school policy.</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the applicable field of education required.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\" style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;line-height:normal;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-left:12.25pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;margin-bottom:0in;text-indent:-12.25pt;text-align:center;'><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
