    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Youth Worker Positions</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Dene Godhe Ala Youth Center</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help plan and carry out Youth and Recreation programs and events.</li>\n<li>Assist with setting up and organizing activities for youth and recreation participants. </li>\n<li>Support staff and volunteers during youth and recreation activities. </li>\n<li>Help coordinate programming with other departments and groups.</li>\n<li>Assist with fundraising activities as directed.</li>\n<li>Help advertise Cold Lake First Nations Youth and Recreation programs and events. </li>\n<li>Work independently while maintaining a professional attitude and conduct. </li>\n<li>Be willing to work flexible hours, chaperone youth/athletes, and obtain required coaching certification.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience or a strong interest in youth work, recreation, or physical education is required.</li>\n<li>Possess a valid relevant certification related to Youth or Recreation (e.g. First Aid, Coaching Certificate).</li>\n<li>Have general knowledge of policies and procedures for youth programming, and community involvement. </li>\n<li>Valid class 3 ot 5 Alberta's License and access to reliable vehicle. </li>\n<li>Must be able to provide a Criminal Record Check and a Child Welfare Check. </li>\n<li>Basic computer knowledge and office skills required. </li>\n<li>Good verbal, and listening communication skills. </li>\n<li>Ability to work productively with various groups of people to achieve program objectives. </li>\n<li>Must be creative, resourceful, and able to handle challenging situations. </li>\n<li>Demonstrate dedication to the position and the community. </li>\n<li>A general knowledge of Cold Lake First Nations traditions, elders, culture, and dynamics is an asset. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday to Friday (12:00pm to 8:00pm) and Saturday to Sunday (11:00am to 7:00pm), with alternating weekends.</li>\n<li>Work in office atmosphere as well as outdoors. </li>\n<li>Work with challenging situations. </li>\n<li>Sitting, standing and being active for extended periods. </li>\n<li>Be flexible, and work within a team. </li>\n<li>Perform repetitive tasks. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
