Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand-new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Summary of Essential Duties:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates the daily work schedule and directs staff to ensure section maintains effective and efficient workflow following staffing guidelines.</li>\n <li>Ensures appropriate orientation, training, and development of staff, students, and new hires. Facilitates cross-training of staff as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrates ability to perform crucial conversations and confrontations and appropriately uses chain of command to manage staff.</li>\n <li>Works effectively with Technical Manager to appropriately flex staff and manage overtime.</li>\n <li>Works closely with and supports Safety Ambassador to eliminate errors.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensures staff is involved and compliant with safety standards.</li>\n <li>Works closely with and supports PACS Recon liaison to eliminate significant PACS errors.</li>\n <li>Responsible for first-line patient resolution and customer complaints.</li>\n <li>Maintains effective communication with physicians, nurses, visitors, and other personnel regarding scheduling, status of procedure performance, or results.</li>\n <li>Ensures that approved protocol changes are followed.</li>\n <li>Transports medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Stocks medications in accordance with policy and procedure and ensures medication security at all times.</li>\n <li>Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of imaging technology employed in their section including theory of operation and rationale of QC procedures performed.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
