Ideally, this Manager should reside within one hour or be within a commutable distance to Flint, MI. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Training Manager is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that ensure team members across the health system are skilled, safe, compliant, and confident in their roles. Operational topics include knife safety, food safety, sanitation, patient‑room entry procedures, and service standards while also assessing competency and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role partners closely with Operation Managers to support a consistent, high‑reliability culture across all facilities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Create, update, and deliver training programs for Food & Nutrition Services staff, including:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>            Knife handling and equipment safety</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Food safety, HACCP principles, and sanitation standards</li>\n <li>Proper procedures for entering patient rooms (including isolation precautions)</li>\n <li>Tray line operations, meal accuracy, and patient‑experience standards</li>\n <li>Temperature logs, storage procedures, and regulatory compliance</li>\n <li>Customer service, communication, and service recovery</li>\n <li>Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires across multiple locations.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop engaging training materials such as SOPs, videos, checklists, competency guides, and hands‑on demonstrations.</li>\n <li>Conduct skills assessments to evaluate staff knowledge, performance, and adherence to procedures.</li>\n <li>Track training completion, competency results, and follow‑up needs.</li>\n <li>Identify performance gaps and create targeted retraining plans.</li>\n <li>Provide coaching and feedback to employees to reinforce learning.</li>\n <li>Maintain a system‑wide training calendar and ensure consistent delivery across all campuses.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with leaders to identify training needs based on audits, safety events, patient feedback, and operational changes.</li>\n <li>Monitor regulatory updates and adjust training programs accordingly.</li>\n <li>Support readiness for inspections and accreditation surveys.</li>\n <li>Lead or participate in quality‑improvement initiatives related to food safety, patient experience, and operational excellence.</li>\n <li>Serve as a subject‑matter expert for food safety and service standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
