    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Job Functions</span></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span>·         </span>Ensures that the Management System is:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Implemented and maintained ashore and onboard managed fleet</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Is always in accordance with:</p>\n<p><span>§  </span>Company’s standards</p>\n<p><span>§  </span>ISM code</p>\n<p><span>§  </span>Other applicable National and International Legislation</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Conducts web-based SMS Awareness induction to increase new employee awareness and comprehension regarding company’s expectations as defined in the MS</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Monitors the Annual Internal &amp; External audit plan to ascertain that is followed closely and timely</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Ensures that all parties engaged in the audit planning &amp; executions are aware of their role significance</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Conducts:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Internal audits, ashore and onboard</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Pre-audit visits onboard, to prepare the crew for the forthcoming external audit</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Participates in the actual audit process, if necessary</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Reports to<span> </span><span>Safety and Security Manager</span>the effectiveness and implementation of as identified through:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Internal audits</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Management &amp; Master reviews</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>MS Gap Analysis against industry &amp; quality standards, like TMSA, ABS HSQE, DBMS etc.</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Assures compliance against set requirements of applicable standards and legislation</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Demonstrates continual improvement and evolution of Company’s MS</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Evaluates raised Audit CARs to:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Ensure validity and quality of corrective &amp; preventive actions</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Eliminate the cause of the actual or potential nonconformity</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Monitors the Audit CARs’ close out to ensure that:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Is carried out only based on assessed close-out evidences provided by the vessel staff or office staff</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>It satisfies the identified corrective and preventive actions</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Provides MS, processes and performance advice to the management team and all staff</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Promotes line responsibility for HSQ Management</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Maintains HSQ monitoring and data analysis tools</p>\n\n\n\n<p> </p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Competencies</span></p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><span>·         </span>Either sea experience onboard similar type of fleet vessels for minimum 2 years, or higher shipping education and/or HSQE &amp; BSc or MSc qualifications</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Good knowledge of the shipping business and relevant working experience, on similar type of our fleet vessels</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Excellent English language and communication skills, oral and written</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Excellent analytical skills</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>ISM Internal Auditor Certification from a recognized certifying body</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Good understanding of:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Audit and compliance</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>HSQΕ requirements &amp; functions</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Relevant IMO regulations</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Safety education</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Familiar with:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Risk Assessment</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>ALARP</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Incident Investigation</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>KPIs</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Aspect/Impact Assessment</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Training courses on:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Incident Investigation</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Root Cause Analysis</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Competent in math’s and statistics</p>\n<p><span>·         </span>Proficient in a wide range of Microsoft Office products:</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Word</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Excel</p>\n<p><span>-          </span>Power-point</p>\n\n\n",
