As an IOM Technologist at MPOWERHealth, you are a critical part of that circle of care — monitoring the patient's brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves in real time, ready to act the moment something needs attention.</p>\n<p>This isn't just a technical role. Make a Difference.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Role in the Operating Room</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Every case is different. Every patient is counting on you. Here's how you show up for them:</p>\n<p>• Before the first incision, you meet with patients, review their history, and explain what neuromonitoring means for their safety. You are often their last reassuring voice before surgery begins.Patient Assessment:</p>\n<p>• You are the eyes on the nervous system throughout the procedure — continuously reading electrophysiological data, spotting early warning signs, and alerting the surgical team in real time when it matters most.Intraoperative Monitoring:</p>\n<p>• You work side-by-side with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff. Your communication and expertise directly influence surgical decisions and patient outcomes.Team Collaboration:</p>\n<p>• You interpret complex waveforms, correlate findings with surgical events, and document everything with precision. Your records protect the patient long after they leave the OR.Data Integrity:</p>\n<p>• You contribute to a culture of continuous improvement — helping make care better not just for today's patients, but for every patient who follows.Quality & Innovation:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer: A Career That Rewards Your Dedication</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p>\n<p>We believe people who protect patients deserve to be well taken care of themselves:</p>\n<p>• Sign-On Bonus — because your expertise is worth it from day one</p>\n<p>• Competitive salary based on your experience, credentials, and skillset</p>\n<p>• Earn up to 100% employer-paid health insurance + $1,500 annual HSA contribution</p>\n<p>• Quarterly utilization incentive — up to $2,000 per quarter</p>\n<p>• Travel incentive pay: $150–$250 per case day when covering cases on the road</p>\n<p>• On-call pay, paid holidays, vacation, and sick time</p>\n<p>• 401(k) with competitive company match and immediate vesting</p>\n<p>• Access to advanced case training to keep growing your clinical skills</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>This role is for experienced IOM professionals ready to step in and make an immediate impact:</p>\n<p>• CNIM certified or CNIM-eligible</p>\n<p>• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field</p>\n<p>• Minimum 1 year of IONM experience</p>\n<p>• Strong foundation in neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology</p>\n<p>• AHA CPR certified | Valid Driver's License</p>\n<p>• A communicator and a collaborator — equally comfortable working independently or as part of a surgical team</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Bonus Points</p>\n<p>• Advanced degree in neuroscience or a related field</p>\n<p>• Experience with advanced neuromonitoring modalities</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What to Expect on the Job</p>\n<p>This is an active, hands-on role in real surgical environments:</p>\n<p>• You'll be on your feet — standing, moving, and staying sharp for extended periods</p>\n<p>• You'll transport and set up equipment (up to 45 lbs)</p>\n<p>• Schedule flexibility required, including on-call availability</p>\n<p>• Exposure to OR environments; adherence to safety protocols is essential</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Not yet CNIM certified?
