Assembler
Concord, NC
Pay: $17.75 per hour
Shifts: 3rd
Fulltime, Benefits, and Weekly Pay
We are looking for a Production Associate with CNC experience in Concord, NC . You will play a crucial role in assembling and packaging various materials and components. You will utilize your mechanical skills to troubleshoot equipment and ensure that our production processes run smoothly. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
We offer: 5 Days of PTO 6 Paid Holidays Up to 50% of health insurance premiums paid by Impact Access to a retirement plan, financial fitness, and employee savings programs Key Responsibilities: Proficiently switch between various Assembler II roles as needed. Retrieve and prepare packing materials according to the Bill of Material. Assemble boxes/cartons and apply correct labeling. Inspect, count, and pack products into boxes/cartons following standard work instructions. Perform intermediate troubleshooting on mechanical equipment and resolve minor jams. Assist with changeovers, preventative maintenance, and cleaning tasks. Rework components as directed by supervision. Move finished goods to the staging area. Maintain safety standards and operate equipment safely. Document production rates and maintain records on quality audits and downtime. Uphold cleanliness and organization in the work area using 5S methodology. Follow standard work procedures to ensure product quality. Adapt to various work areas as per production schedules. Complete other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience: 12 months of manufacturing experience preferred. Skills: Basic reading, writing, and math skills in English. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods. CNC experience is a plus. Manual dexterity for assembly tasks. EOE
