    "jobDescription": "<p><b><span>Accountant</span></b><br /><span>As an accountant you will be part of the South Europe Finance Department based in Milan and you will report into the Accounting Manager and dotted line into the CFO South Europe. You will responsible for Finance and Accounting activities of an Italian Legal entity of the Group with the following responsibilities and duties:</span><br /><br /> </p><p><b>What&#39;s In It For You:</b></p><ul><li><p>Autonomy to innovate and deliver new approaches that impact the bottom and the top line</p></li><li><p>Grow and collaborate across an extensive network outside of the Group in a fast-pace environment</p></li><li><p>Being surrounded by inspiring and diverse talent across many different sectors</p></li><li><p>Learn from people and cooperate with a wide variety of professional backgrounds</p></li><li><p>Ability to develop new skills and opportunities through lateral, geographical or functional moves</p></li><li><p>Full time and permanent employment</p></li></ul><p><br /><br /><span><b>What Will You Be Doing:</b></span></p><ul><li><p>Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company</p></li><li><p>Overview of the automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, AP</p></li><li><p>Non Trade Accounts payables, prime entries</p></li><li><p>Support the preparation of financial reports, the month‑end closing process, and monthly reconciliations</p></li><li><p>Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities following local and US GAAP</p></li><li><p>Ensure the integrity of accounting information by verifying and recording transaction</p></li><li><p>Cash management and reporting, support payment preparation</p></li><li><p>Contact with Tax authorities for audit and special requests</p></li><li><p>Maintain and reviewing financial records, including Fixed Assets Ledger</p></li><li><p>Compliance with local accounting legislation, tax laws, standards and reporting timeliness</p></li><li><p>Intercompany and bank reconciliation</p></li><li><p>Provide support in general accounting activities and in the preparation of VAT returns, working in liaison with local tax and legal consultants to ensure the correct calculation of monthly VAT and taxable income; support the preparation of VAT reports, the Journal Book, F24 forms, and other government‑related filings</p></li><li><p>Interact directly with auditors to discuss and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Maintain strong knowledge of accounting and finance practices</p></li><li><p>Analyzing new transactions and documenting appropriate accounting treatment under Local and Us Gaap and ensuring that it is applied</p></li><li><p>Continuous improvement of processes and controls.</p></li><li><p>Support on ad hoc projects</p></li><li><p>Enhancing the tools and processes.</p></li></ul><p><br /> </p><p><b><span>The Ideal Person:</span></b><br /> </p><p>The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics or in Accounting and has gained extensive experience in a similar role within Italian and international entities.
