    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary&nbsp;<br></strong>This position is responsible for a large variety of unique duties within the maintenance department. Major components of this position are support to the maintenance department, contractor coordination, project management support and buildings, vehicles and grounds upkeep. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor but frequently receives daily assignments from the Maintenance Manager.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Perform maintenance related duties to maintain facilities and grounds in a premier manner.</li><li>Keep assigned work orders current to seven days.</li><li>Assist maintenance technicians and other departments as requested for special projects.</li><li>Pickup, deliver, load and unload freight and move equipment between storage building and plant as required.</li><li>Maintain oil and lubricants for the maintenance team.</li><li>Provide contractor coordination and oversight, ensures quality of work meets or exceeds company standards. Verify contract employees adhere to company safety and quality policies.</li><li>Deliver of salt and chemical for water treatment of plant water circuit systems.</li><li>Assist with the maintenance of cooling towers and condensers.</li><li>Perform maintenance on department and office vehicles and other large equipment.</li><li>Operate large equipment for construction related duties and snow removal.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain training requirements to serve on the emergency response team.</li><li>Comply with all company safety rules and follow PPE requirements to achieve no injuries and no lost time accidents.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain standard records pertaining to daily work requirements in a manner that makes them a reliable data source for safety, quality and regulatory requirements and audits.</li><li>Understand and adhere to all GMPs and food safety policies and procedures and perform all work in a manner that ensures the highest standard of food safety and quality.</li></ul><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li>Attend and/or complete required safety and quality training sessions by the assigned deadlines</li><li>Use tools, spare parts and supplies in responsible manner yielding maximum profitability for VQC while maintaining equipment and facility to the highest possible standard.</li><li>Ensure 100 percent accuracy when signing out spare parts and any other parts transactions.</li><li>Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Technical Capacity</li><li>Problem Solving/Analysis</li><li>Communication Proficiency</li><li>Computer</li><li>Time Management/Initiative</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Supervisory Responsibility<br></strong>This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment<br></strong>This job operates in an office, shop and plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Exposed to extreme temperature variations. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Demands<br></strong>Please refer to the separate functional job description for this position.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work<br></strong>This is a full-time position. This position works a nine-hour shift Monday through Friday. This position is on call during winter months when a snow event is forecasted.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Travel<br></strong>Less than 5% travel expected for this position.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in; line-height: 1;\"><strong>Required Education, Experience &amp; Certifications</strong><br>High school diploma/GED.
