These roles will require working onboard various class U.S. Navy ships. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, operation, modification, repair, and testing of components, materials and equipment. </li>\n <li>Inspects assemblies and installations for conformance with specifications, using measuring instruments such as tape measurer, calipers, scales and micrometer. </li>\n <li>Sets up and operates soldering and welding equipment to join metal parts. </li>\n <li>Support removal and installation of foundations, cabling & cableways, equipment, sheet metal, ventilation systems, housings and a variety of C5I system components and their sub-systems. </li>\n <li>Fabricates and assembles new or modified components or assemblies. </li>\n <li>Evaluates the form, fit and function of components and equipment for adherence to project objectives. </li>\n <li>Participates in special projects as required. </li>\n <li>Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma and a minimum of one year related experience.</li>\n <li>Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, written or oral instructions, and other technical documents.</li>\n <li>Must have the basic tools of the trade.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>OSHA 10 certification is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>GLOTECH, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.</strong></p>",
