    "requisitionDescription": "<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>D2 Government Solutions (D2GS) is seeking an experienced <strong>Aircraft Mechanic III</strong> to join our F-22 Wash and Corrosion Control team at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. The selected candidate will perform complex maintenance, inspection, and corrosion control tasks on F-22 Raptor aircraft, ensuring full compliance with Air Force Technical Orders and D2GS quality standards.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform scheduled and unscheduled wash and corrosion control services on F-22 aircraft.</li><li>Conduct inspections and perform advanced maintenance on structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and landing gear systems.</li><li>Lubricate and service aircraft landing gear, replace Zerk fittings, and perform canopy waxing per Technical Orders.</li><li>Operate tow tractors and direct aircraft towing operations in compliance with safety and TO requirements.</li><li>Document all work in AFTO 781 forms and maintenance systems; immediately report discrepancies to the Production Superintendent.</li><li>Provide technical oversight and guidance to Aircraft Mechanic Helpers.</li><li>Adhere to strict Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and Dropped Object Prevention (DOP) procedures.</li><li>Maintain compliance with OSHA, AFOSH, environmental regulations, and JBLE safety standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or A&amp;P certification preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably on fighter-class aircraft.</li><li>Strong understanding of corrosion control, lubrication systems, and aircraft ground handling procedures.</li><li>Must be able to pass a federal background check</li><li>Ability to read, interpret, and apply Technical Orders</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>About D2 Government Solutions</strong></p><p>D2GS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
