You join a community that respects who you are away from work as much as what you do while at work.  </p><p><b>Where Your Career is a Force for Good!</b> </p><p></p><p><b>WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):</b>  </p><p>Manage a team to establish, strengthen, and grow American Red Cross programs and services to meet the needs of the United Stated military members, veterans, and their families in accordance with Red Cross policies and procedures. Develop long and short-term program strategies. May oversee the implementation of programs and services in communities and military installations. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.<br /><br />Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.</p><p></p><p><b>WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):</b>  </p><ul><li>Develop, implement and execute strategy within area of responsibility to advance volunteer services. Oversee risk management issues specific to volunteer services.</li><li> Lead and empower a team to implement and execute streamlined, flexible, effective programs, activities, systems and processes. Ensure goals are set, monitored and realized including attainment of national standards.</li><li> Responsible for the management of volunteer and paid staff including, but not limited to, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating and managing performance to ensure a well-qualified team and to enhance operational success.<br /> </li><li>Design and monitor effective metrics. Collect data and present key performance indicators and updates to management.</li><li>Build relationships and collaborate with internal partners, staff, volunteers, community, and external organizations. Work with internal partners to implement strategies for strengthening the Red Cross brand, ensure communication and a consistent experience for volunteers across all lines of service.</li><li>Serve as a resource to volunteers and internal partners and lead efforts to maximize involvement, efficiency and institutionalization of volunteer support. Ensure that strategic partnerships are maximized to support relevant lines of service throughout the organization.</li><li>Will have budgetary responsibility. Will be responsible for grant coordination duties in contract-funded programs.</li></ul><p></p><p>The salary range for this position is $89,600 - $94,500. </p><p>This role is not eligible for relocation assistance</p><p></p><p><b>WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):</b>  </p><ul><li>Education: Bachelor&#39;s degree required.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience</li><li>Management Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience preferred</li><li>Valid Drivers license</li></ul><p></p><p><b>WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE (Preferred Qualifications):</b>  </p><ul><li>Prior Military Experience is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with the SAF</li></ul><p></p><p><b>BENEFITS FOR YOU:</b> </p><p>As a mission-based organization, we believe our team needs great support to do great work.
