    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant I or Nurse Practitioner I) to provide comprehensive, evidence-based cancer care within the outpatient Medical Oncology team.&nbsp;</strong>As GU Oncology/Melanoma experts within the care team, the NP or PA will partner to treat and manage patients in all disease stages with curative and palliative-intent therapies.</span></p>\n<p><span>The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Mayo Clinic also may perform the following tasks in any authorized setting:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Obtaining patient history</span></li>\n <li><span>Performing physical examinations</span></li>\n <li><span>Ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures</span></li>\n <li><span>Formulating a diagnostic impression</span></li>\n <li><span>Developing and implementing a treatment plan</span></li>\n <li><span>Monitoring effectiveness of therapeutic interventions</span></li>\n <li><span>Offering counseling and education to meet patient needs</span></li>\n <li><span>Making appropriate referrals</span></li>\n <li><span>Prescribing and dispensing prescription medication in accordance with FL state laws and department policies</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrates ability to assess data reflective of patient's status and appropriately interprets information relative to patient's age-specific needs.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assist with ongoing departmental process improvement and policy development</span></li>\n <li><span>Other departmental or institutional committee assignments as needed</span></li>\n <li><span>Participate in research and education</span></li>\n <li><span>Engage in tumor board discussions</span></li>\n</ul>",
