We deliver subsidized services to adults and families in need and deserving children of the Boothbay region.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Position Summary</strong></u>:&nbsp;</p><p>This position supports the work of the YMCA, a leading nonprofit to strengthen the community.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Commits to the YMCA’s mission, vision, and values to promote healthy living, social responsibility and youth development.&nbsp;</li><li>Works closely with supervisor to keep the YMCA's buildings and properties functioning and secure while ensuring safety, licensing standards, and the YMCA's reputation. Ensures campus remains secure by monitoring facility and member activities; locking up supplies &amp; equipment; and locking the facilities at the end of each day.&nbsp;</li><li>Works with other staff to ensure the YMCA’s facilities are clean, sanitized, organized, and safe. Facility areas include the Main Campus and Camp Knickerbocker.&nbsp;</li><li>Cleans, sanitizes, wipes down all surfaces (including glass), and removes trash from all facility areas.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies, creates weekly supply orders, and supports order management. Ensures rooms are fitted with appropriate cleaning and/or toiletry supplies at all times.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists with light maintenance including light-bulb replacement, minor plumbing fixes, simple repairs, and routine maintenance of cleaning equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinates with supervisor in keeping YMCA campus grounds clean and orderly.
