Eight out of ten employees believe Fooda is one of their company’s top perks.</p><p>Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our Boston market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.</p><p><b><u>What You’ll Be Doing</u></b></p><ul><li>Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience</li><li>Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures</li><li>Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication </li><li>Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards</li><li>Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching</li><li>Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer</li><li>Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality</li><li>Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve</li><li>Critical hours are over lunch Tuesday - Thursday (10 am – 2 pm) but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need</li></ul><p><b><u>Who You Are:</u></b> </p><ul><li>You love building relationships with customers and enjoy customer service</li><li>You are friendly, high energy and love interacting with other people</li><li>You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up</li><li>You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions</li><li>You are a strong communicator and self-starter</li><li>You are organized and detail oriented.
