Job Title: Senior Platform and Infrastructure Engineer Company Description: Context - Lux Capital and General Catalyst backed AI startup Job Description: As our first dedicated infrastructure hire, you will own the deployment architecture for our Enterprise Agent OS. You will design multi-cloud systems for VPC, private cloud, and air-gapped environments, enabling Fortune 100 customers to run agents securely. This foundational role bridges AI innovation with robust enterprise-grade infrastructure and developer tooling. Location: San Francisco, USA Why this role is remarkable: Direct ownership of the infrastructure layer for a company already live in production with Fortune 100 and government customers. Rare opportunity to join a lean 7-person engineering team led by a Thiel Fellow, shaping the deployment standards for the next generation of enterprise AI. What you will do: Design and build multi-cloud deployment infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP to support VPC and air-gapped on-prem installs. Create high-polish developer tooling and infrastructure-as-code practices that enable seamless, secure deployments for enterprise-scale clients. Architect networking and security perimeters that allow AI agents to connect to 300+ enterprise tools while inheriting full permission structures. The ideal candidate: 3-7 years of experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically mastering VPC architecture, networking, and security protocols in regulated environments. Proven track record of building deployment systems for enterprise SaaS or private cloud products, ideally within a fast-paced startup setting.
