Transform.</strong></p><p>At Chamberlain University, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary <strong>Dean, Academic Affairs (Nursing) – Program Director</strong>—a leader who is empowering, influential, inspiring, and deeply passionate about advancing nursing education. In this role, you will serve as the <strong>Program Director overseeing the Charlotte campus nursing program</strong>, guiding academic integrity, operational excellence, and the continued growth of our BSN program. You will champion student success, cultivate a high‑performing academic team, and ensure our curriculum and learning experience remain exceptional and future‑focused.</p><p>As part of this leadership role, you will support the expansion of our <strong>Evening and Weekend Program</strong>, requiring <strong>availability during evenings and weekends</strong> to ensure seamless program delivery and student success.</p><p>If you are energized by shaping the next generation of nurses, empowering faculty, and driving outcomes that matter—this is your opportunity to lead with purpose and impact.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Lead</strong></p><p><strong>Academic Strategy &amp; Student Success</strong></p><ul><li>Execute the BSN academic strategy with a focus on driving strong student outcomes (NCLEX pass rates, persistence, graduation, and student satisfaction).</li><li>Actively support and own academic strategy and curriculum change from the center.</li><li>Lead program expansion, including the Evening and Weekend Program, ensuring operational excellence and flexibility.</li><li>Drive new academic initiatives with agility and vision, responding to evolving healthcare education needs.</li></ul><p><strong>Curriculum Excellence &amp; Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure curriculum delivery meets institutional standards and accreditation benchmarks through rigorous evaluation and continuous improvement.</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison with the <strong>Board of Nursing</strong>, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.</li><li>Lead and coordinate <strong>site visits and accreditation reviews</strong>, maintaining program readiness and excellence.</li><li>Manage academic operations with national support teams, budgets, faculty workload models, and instructional resources.</li><li>Embed Chamberlain Care principles and Covista culture expectations into academic operations and support services.</li></ul><p><strong>Faculty Leadership &amp; Team Development</strong></p><ul><li>Build and lead a high-performing academic team—faculty, lab, experiential learning teams, and support—aligned to student success.</li><li>Oversee hiring, onboarding, development, scheduling, performance, and retention of faculty and associate deans.</li><li>Ensure appropriate faculty coverage and support for evening and weekend programming.</li><li>Partner with ADAAs to ensure high faculty engagement and low regrettable turnover.</li><li>Ensure faculty are retained, continuously improving, and achieving their goals.</li></ul><p><strong>Program Oversight &amp; Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as <strong>Program Director for the Charlotte campus</strong>, with full accountability for program performance, student outcomes, and operational effectiveness.</li><li>Ensure successful execution and sustainability of the campus-based BSN program, including expanded delivery models.</li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration, Partnership &amp; Representation</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as liaison to boards, communities, and internal stakeholders with professionalism and care.</li><li>Represent the program in regulatory, accreditation, and community engagements.</li><li>Work as a team—coordinating closely with the Executive Director, DAAs, and ADAAs to support student and business outcomes.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Behaviors for Success</strong></p><ul><li>Prioritize student success: Anticipate and respond to student needs and empower faculty to remove barriers.</li><li>Connect to the vision: Inspire your team by linking daily work to Chamberlain’s mission.</li><li>Strive to improve: Use data, feedback, and innovation to enhance outcomes.</li><li>Work as a team: Collaborate across campus and national teams.</li><li>Own outcomes: Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and celebrate achievements.</li></ul><p><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong></p><ul><li>Strong student outcomes, including NCLEX pass rates at or above the national BSN average.</li><li>High student engagement and satisfaction (NPS and feedback).</li><li>Enrollment and persistence targets consistently met or exceeded.</li><li>High faculty engagement with low regrettable turnover.</li><li>Faculty development, retention, and goal attainment.</li><li>Successful site visits, compliance outcomes, and Board of Nursing relationships.</li><li>Effective delivery and growth of the Evening and Weekend Program.</li></ul>",
