    "description": "<p>FRAME Technical Services, LLC seeks a qualified Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist for a position to be based in Richland, WA. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can work well on a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities Include:</span></p>\n<p>Duties include, but are not limited to the following:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support identification and disposition of features identified through field walkdowns or</li>\n</ul>\n<p>documentation review. Such as, historical research as well as GIS spatial analysis and field</p>\n<p>verification.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) units to collect field GIS data, navigate to features, and utilize offsets during field collection for inspections, projects, and assessments.</li>\n<li>Create maps using ESRI ArcGIS software (e.g., ArcGIS Pro) to be able to conduct tasks such as</li>\n</ul>\n<p>spatial analysis, imagery georectification, and create features (e.g., points, lines, and polygons) for</p>\n<p>use by various customers.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use photogrammetry (e.g., Pix4Dmapper or similarly approved) software to process collected data</li>\n</ul>\n<p>and imagery and create maps and other georeferenced products as needed.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform complex geospatial analyses to identify patterns, relationships, and trends in the data, producing </li>\n</ul>\n<p>comprehensive reports based on findings.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Process aerial imagery for use with GIS software including assisting with identifying, researching, and dispositioning unknown features observed in the field.</li>\n<li>Create and organize GPS data (e.g., features, geodatabases, and metadata).</li>\n<li>Work with engineers, surveyors, and other professionals to develop effective ways to represent and analyze </li>\n</ul>\n<p>spatial data.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interface with personnel from client, customer, state and federal regulatory agencies, and stakeholder organizations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of GIS principles and methodologies</li>\n<li>BS or MS in geography, environmental science, computer science, or a related field </li>\n<li>Minimum of 8 years’ professional experience in related discipline</li>\n<li>Effective written and verbal communication skills; strong technical writing skills</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of ESRI technologies (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, QGIS, ArcObjects)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior Hanford Site or DOE/DoD experience</li>\n<li>Familiarity with database programming languages such as SQL</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Information:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary package information – dependent on experience and education</li>\n<li>Full benefits package may be offered depending on the position</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>FRAME Technical Services, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
