    "description": "<p>Seeking maintenance laborers for first shift for a local housing authority in Chambersburg PA and Waynesboro, PA.</p>\n<p>Job would entail working mostly in Chambersburg but there will be times when the work is in Waynesboro. Jobs are first shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.  There would be flexibility for part-timers on the hours.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Job Responsibilities:</p>\n<p>--Refurbish housing units under management of agency</p>\n<p>--Specific duties could include cleaning buildings, patching walls, painting, replacing broken items, some plumbing type work.</p>\n<p>--Basic carpentry-type work </p>\n<p>--Could include mowing and landscaping of properties during warner periods and snow removal in winter</p>\n<p>--Working on work orders from tenants in public housing units to fix items</p>\n<p>--Do anything that is needed in operation of the agency</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Desired Skills and Experience:</p>\n<p>--Need someone mechanical with handyman-type experience</p>\n<p>--Need a fast-paced worker who is willing to do different things everyday</p>\n<p>--Need someone who doesn't need a lot of follow-up once given direction</p>\n<p>--Need someone who works in a safe manner</p>\n<p>--Need someone who is respectful. You will be working in a public housing arena and interacting with many different people.</p>\n<p>--Need someone with a good driving record </p>\n<p>--All applicants will be drug tested and undergo a background check</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a first shift job opportunity with good employee benefits.  If interested, apply to the system.</p>",
