    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Staff Position Description</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Position Title: </strong>Clinical Lead <strong>Position Code:</strong> LeadRN-6004</p>\n<p><strong>Department:</strong> Nursing <strong>Safety Sensitive:</strong> Yes</p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Nursing Director <strong>Exempt Status:</strong> No</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Position Purpose:</strong></p>\n<p>All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision to be among the kindest, highest quality health systems in the country.</p>\n<table>\n <tbody>\n  <tr>\n   <td>\n    <p>Serves as a liaison between patients, staff, and management while proactively coordinating high quality, safe patient care flow, managing continuous process improvement, and supporting a positive, respectful, and professional working environment for all.</p>\n    <p>Adheres to all areas of the KHI Behavioral Expectations Agreement and Social Media Guidelines; Supports/embraces KHI’s Mission, Vision, and values, as well as promote a positive image of KHI; Acts as a role model to staff; Maintains patient and staff confidentiality; Maintains a professional appearance and manner at all times; Supports a healthy work environment through skilled communication, true collaboration, effective decision making, appropriate staffing and meaningful recognition.&nbsp;</p></td>\n  </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong><em>[List of material responsibilities and essentials duties which must be completed in achieving the objectives of the position]</em></p>\n<table>\n <tbody>\n  <tr>\n   <td>\n    <p><strong>Coordination of Nursing Personnel </strong></p>\n    <p>· Coordinates staffing for current and next shift for optimal productivity, taking into consideration patient acuity and staff expertise.</p>\n    <p>· Delegates patient care activities to unit and ancillary staff.&nbsp;</p>\n    <p>· Leads daily team huddles to provide accurate, consistent information to team members.</p>\n    <p>· Demonstrates the ability to support staff with problem solving and decision making.</p>\n    <p>· Assists with interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new employees.</p>\n    <p>· Provide and manage constructive feedback.</p>\n    <p>· Provides input regarding employee performance evaluations and competencies.</p>\n    <p>· Attends huddles, clinical lead meetings, and LDI trainings.</p>\n    <p>· Engages and communicates with staff to ensure consistency and standardization of information, including documentation of staff attendance (including personal attendance).</p>\n    <p><strong>Coordination of Patient Care Quality and Patient Satisfaction</strong></p>\n    <p>· Works with the Staffing/Supervisor Office to coordinate admissions to the floor.&nbsp;</p>\n    <p>· Continually addresses workflow issues, as appropriate, to ensure patients are placed promptly and move smoothly through the hospital system.</p>\n    <p>· Serves as a clinical resource to staff, assisting staff with patient admissions, discharges, and clinical tasks.</p>\n    <p>· Attends Care Conferences on the Unit. Assists with ensuring appropriate patient referrals as needed.</p>\n    <p>· Works with Unit Director in making daily patient rounds on Unit.
