          "text": "<p>The requirements are as follows: </p><p>·       Flexible to start early and stay late for events</p><p><br /></p><p>·       Have own transportation</p><p><br /></p><p>·       AV experience</p><p><br /></p><p>·       Computer literate</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p>Job Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</p><p>·         Ability to operate VTC and AV equipment</p><p>·         Initiate point to point VTC calls, either in room or remotely</p><p>·         Ensuring that expectations of customers utilizing all on site conferencing facilities are successful</p><p>·         Responsibilities include all aspects of in-room operation and presentation assistance</p><p>·         Coordination of furniture configuration per client needs</p><p>·         Ensuring that audio visual equipment is correctly delivered and set up of room is in good working condition</p><p>·         Perform room checks to ensure that conferencing facilities are properly maintained</p><p>·         Handling minor equipment repairs, coordination of major repair work as appropriate</p><p>·         Train customers with basic AV equipment and controls</p><p>·         Assist Tier 2 technical support in opening/closing trouble tickets</p><p>·         Provide analysis and feedback to enhance day to day operations</p><p>·         High level customer interaction and conflict resolutions</p><p>·         Maintaining equipment storage areas and lists of onsite supplies and equipment</p><p>·         Ensuring high quality customer service at all levels</p><p>·         Answer technical and logistic questions pertaining to video conferencing and collaboration services provided to client</p><p>·         Ability to troubleshoot problems with VTC, AV, and Distance Learning equipment</p><p>·         Excellent interpersonal skills to interface constantly with customer</p><p>·         Maintain accurate records of all VC and AV request</p><p>·         Maintain accurate records of conference room inventory</p><p>·         Responsible for assigned room schedules</p><p>·         All other duties as assigned</p><p> </p><p>Skills &amp; Abilities:</p><p>·         Experience with Polycom and VTC equipment configuration, operation and fault isolation</p><p>·         Experience with control systems such as Crestron operations</p><p>·         Previous on-site customer interfacing experience</p><p>·         AV equipment operation and some troubleshooting experience</p><p>·         Ability to, test, diagnose, and modify audiovisual control systems (Crestron, etc.).</p><p>·         Knowledge of projectors, plasma’s and AV peripheral equipment.</p><p>·         Working knowledge of IT network and infrastructure technologies.</p><p>·         Excellent verbal &amp; written communication skills.</p><p>·         Working knowledge of general business software including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Lotus Notes</p><p> </p><p>Education &amp; Qualifications:</p><p>·         A BA in a technical subject or equivalent and related work experience.</p><p>·         1 to 3 years as a Technician in the Audio Visual or affiliated industry</p><p>·         Manufacturer’s certification including Extron, Polycom, Tandberg, Crestron, Clear One, etc. highly desirable.</p><p>·         Willingness to pursue additional training related to performance of job.</p><p> </p><p>Additional Requirements:</p><p>Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.</p><p>Requires extensive sitting, standing and walking</p><p>Valid U.S. driver’s license is a requirement and must have a positive driver’s abstract.</p><p>Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts</p>",
