Apply now!</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summary:</span></p>\n<p>Scotty's Contracting and Stone is seeking a<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Concrete + Carpenter Laborer </span>to join our Heavy Civil Division. This position supports the successful completion of heavy highway, industrial, and commercial construction projects by performing a variety of concrete, carpentry, pipe, and general labor duties. Responsibilities include assisting with the construction of roads, drainage systems, utilities, structures, and other infrastructure improvements while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working effectively in a team environment under varying weather and job site conditions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform general heavy civil construction labor duties </li>\n<li><br><span><span>Assist</span><span> with the construction, installation, bracing, and removal of concrete forms for footings, walls, slabs, curbs, sidewalks, drainage structures, and other concrete components.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Assist</span><span> with concrete placement, finishing, curing, and related construction activities.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Assist</span><span> with pipe installation, drainage structures, utility work, trench preparation, backfilling, and compaction activities.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Perform general labor duties including shoveling, grading, site preparation, material handling, traffic control support, and jobsite cleanup.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Assist</span><span> with reinforcing steel placement, anchor bolts, embeds, and other structural components.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment throughout the project site.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Safely </span><span>operate</span><span> hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment as assigned.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Work in and around trenches, excavations, concrete operations, and active construction zones.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and preferred.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Previous</span><span> experience in concrete construction, carpentry, pipe installation, heavy civil construction, or general construction is preferred.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Basic math and measuring skills.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to work effectively as part of a team.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Self-motivated and able to work without constant
